A study to determine the association of blisters with subsequent injuries was conducted by RS Bush, SK Brodine, and RA Shaffer with 2,130 male recruits from the United States Marine Corps participating in initial physical training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California. The study revealed that recruits with blisters were 50% more likely to have an injury related to further training.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash hot with similar colours. To bleach the socks, use non-chlorine options. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron.

Do not use fabric softeners, as they leave a residue on the fibres and fabrics, preventing them from performing as intended. To remove fabric softeners, simply wash with detergent and rinse.

Do not use chlorine bleach.

Do not use skin lubricants.
